Jim Corbett National Park  
Jim Corbett National Park, the first wildlife reserve of India, extending over an area of more than 500 sq km in the Himalayan foothills. Corbett national park was established in 1936, as the Hailey National Park. In 1955-56 it has changed to Ramganga National Park and finally Jim Corbett National Park in the honor of legendary hunter-turned-conservationist, best known for hunting man-eating tigers and leopards in the Kumaon and lower Garhwal in the 1920s.The Main animals found in the national park wildlife found in the Corbett National Park include the tiger, elephant, chital, sambar, nilgai, gharial, King Cobra, muntjac, wild boar, hedgehog, common musk shrew, flying fox, Indian Pangolin, and nearly 600 species of birds. Corbett National Park receives thousands of visitors every year. A variety of facilities are available to house tourists within and outside the park.

Day 1Drive to Jim Corbett by road from Delhi in the morning (276 kms /6-7 hrs)

» Ceremonial welcome & check in to pre allotted rooms.
» Post lunch, various games and activities can be organized:-
» Volleyball by the banks of River Kosi
» Enjoy a dip in the pool
» Some can choose Ayurvedic massage for about in 2 hours (At extra costs)
» Some tired souls can enjoy a short nap in their respective rooms.
» Option for sport fishing of Mahaseer (At extra costs).
» Some can indulge in games like Table tennis.
» Dinner & O/N stay at hotel Meals :-( Lunch, Dinner)

Day 2 Enjoy Morning Safari in Corbett National park
» Wake up call
» Enjoy Morning safari in Corbett National park (at extra cost).
» Return back to the hotel for breakfast
» Trek to the Garjia temple and after the darshan enjoy local Kumaoni tea in Khullars at local tea stall.
» Return back to the resort for Lunch
» Post lunch, option to visit Bhakrakot village to observe the local lifestyles of the area. Visit the village school, a local home, the farms and cultivation around the village. On the whole the visit to the village helps one understand the methods of farming and cultivation, the local lifestyles, interaction with the local folks etc.
» Second option could be second visit to the national park (At extra Costs)

Day 3 Drive to Nainital (70 kms /2-3 hrs)
» Post Breakfast drive to Nainital.

We try our best to maintain the same itinerary given to you initially. However, it is possible that at the time of booking (and especially during the peak season) the hotel or the room category mentioned by us is full. In that case we will give you an alternate hotel or an alternate room (higher category or lower category). Change in costs, if any, will be intimated to you and balance payable by you or to you will be paid by you or refunded to you as the case may be.
